Date Field - Warning icon

Hi,
 
I'm getting a warning icon and an X in a Date field, does anyone know what is causing this ? 
It's just a normal date field, no values set, no validation required.

Hi,
 
have you changed the style sheet settings?
The CSS class ".dijitValidationIcon" has normally the property "visibility: hidden" set by default...

I removed all CSS and still had the problem, tried server with newer install of 8.5.2 and it worked ?
Must have been an install problem on dev server.
